Lady Raider Soccer Team is Headed to State

State tourneyCongratulations to the Lady Raider Soccer for defeating Red Oak 2-0 on Friday  and Highland Park 1-0 on Saturday.  Both wins were needed to earn a bid in the UIL State Soccer Tournament. The Lady Raider’s will play Friendswood High School on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the semifinals in Georgetown at the Athletic Complex, named Birkelbach Field. The state championship game is on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Dash in the Dark 5K and Fun Run, May 31st
The Wylie ISD Education Foundation is hosting a community wide event, in partnership with the Council of PTAs, on Saturday, May 31.  The event will have booths, food trucks and live music.  More importantly, there will be a certified (Run ON) 5 K and one-mile fun run, both of which will end inside Wylie Stadium. After the run concludes, there will be a fireworks show in the stadium.  For more information, email Jordan Adams.

PTSA Casino Night, April 25th
Casino nightThe PTSAs for both high schools are hosting a Casino Night benefitting both campuses.  Presale tickets get $500 scrip bonus.  It will be April 25th, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm, and is $40 per person.  More . . .

Prom is Coming May 10th
The Great GatsbyThis year's Prom theme is The Great Gatsby.  It will be on May 10th, 8:00 - Midnight.  It will be a memorable evening for our juniors and seniors.  Tickets will sell for $60 and must be paid for in advance.  Tickets will go on sale the week before Prom and will be sold during all lunches.  You may want to start planning your rentals, transportation, pictures, and any other special needs for this event.  We will post formal attire rules soon.  Please keep checking back.
Google Apps in WISD
Wylie ISD has made Google Apps in Education available to all students, teachers, and principals.  Google Apps in EducationGoogle Apps makes learning fun and innovative for students.  It offers a way for studen

Student Parking Expectations
Students who drive must follow campus rules and policies.  Driving on campus is a privilege.  Each student is responsible to read and sign the Student Parking/Traffic Regulations packet before driving on campus.

If you are a senior and you wish to paint your spot, you will need to follow and sign the information and packets below:
  • Senior Paintable Parking Spots go on sale August 5th at 9:00 a.m. in 108
  • Students may begin painting their spot beginning August 12.  NOT BEFORE
  • Students must have their artwork approved by Mr. Whittle and adhere to the painting tip sheet before painting.
